History
The club was originally known as the Minnesota Lacrosse Club (MLC) and started over a decade ago. From our roots in starting prep lacrosse in the state and moving it to a varsity sport over the past two decades, and our engagement and leadership with the men's lacrosse team at the University of Minnesota, we have worked to change the complexion of the standard offering that clubs provided and create an alternative.
Our identity has evolved with the integration of youth and high school hockey teams, thus giving rise to the Minnesota Athletic Club (MAC). Created and managed by a seasoned group of individuals, many hailing from Minnesota, a region renowned for its hockey legacy, our hockey program is dedicated to building boys and girls hockey across the state, driven by passion.
Our offerings extend beyond conventional programs. We offer a variety of camps and clinics that supplement a comprehensive club program catering to boys and girls across skill levels, ranging from novices to High School Elite competition in lacrosse and ice hockey.
Central to our program, our experienced coaches made up of distinguished NCAA veterans, present-day student-athletes, and current and former professional players. Their collective objective: to mold well-rounded players within an environment that champions both enjoyment and active participation.
